Heirlooms in Progress
I first learned to crochet as a 4-H project when I was in elementary school. After much frustration, I barely finished that project for the county fair, and didn't bother to try again until high school. It was then, that while working for the public library processing new books, I perused many crochet pattern books with all the pretty afghans and many cute baby items. My interest was sparked again, and soon I had retaught myself the stitches and found the whole thing far less frustrating and much more relaxing and enjoyable.
That was all a few years ago, and since then I've created many afghans for good friend's new babies, so many birthday gifts and Christmas snowflakes, and few things for myself along the way.
I love to spend my time creating things and love when there is a specific person they are intended for.
If you'd like me to create something special for you or a loved one please send me an email. I have many patterns and yarns to choose from. The required production time depends upon the item and the season, since I work over full-time for an outdoor adventure kids' summer camp .
